DMCA Copyright Policy
Are You an Intellectual Property Rightsholder?
We respect creator ownership and comply expeditiously with valid copyright takedown notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512. Submit your notification directly through our verified form or designated email.
1. Overview & Service Role
BlueLockWorld (www.bluelockworld.com) is an independent fan community platform operated in good faith. We strictly respect the intellectual property rights of mangaka, illustrators, editorial teams, and licensed publishing corporations worldwide, including Kodansha and associated North American and European licensees.
In accordance with Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), BlueLockWorld qualifies as an online service provider. We do not manufacture copyright material, and our software serves primarily as an informational hub, directory, and web viewer for fans. When informed of verified infringing media accessible via our interface, our policy is to promptly investigate and disable access to the identified material.
2. Statutory Takedown Notice Requirements
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A), any copyright infringement notification submitted to our designated agent must be in writing and contain all six (6) of the following statutory elements:
Authorized Signature
A physical or verifiable electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of Copyrighted Work
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., specific Blue Lock volume, chapter number, licensed artwork, or registration number where applicable).
Identification of Infringing Material (URLs)
Identification of the specific material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including full, precise URL(s) on our site where the content is hosted or indexed (e.g., https://www.bluelockworld.com/read/blue-lock/chapter-X). Broad statements such as "the entire site" are legally insufficient.
Sufficient Contact Information
Reasonably sufficient information to permit our agent to contact you, including legal name, organization, physical mailing address, valid telephone number, and an active business email address.
Good Faith Belief Statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (such as fair use).
Statement Made Under Penalty of Perjury
A statement that the information provided in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Warning Regarding False Claims: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including legal costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or service provider.
3. Designated Copyright Agent Contact
Please direct all formal DMCA written notifications and legal correspondence to our designated DMCA agent:
4. Prompt Removal & Expedition Commitment
Upon receipt of a valid, fully substantiated written notice containing all six required statutory elements, our compliance staff will take prompt action:
- 24 to 48 Business Hours Takedown: We commit to expediting review and disabling access or removing referenced infringing URL links within 24 to 48 business hours of receipt.
- Rightsholder Confirmation: We send written email confirmation back to the reporting agent once access to the material has been disabled.
- Uploader Notification: If material was submitted by a registered user or contributor, reasonable steps will be taken to promptly notify them of the takedown and provide notice of counter-notification procedures.
5. DMCA Counter-Notification Procedure
If content you posted or indexed was removed as a result of a mistaken identity or misidentification, you may submit a formal counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). To be effective, a counter-notification must be in writing and contain:
- •Your physical or electronic signature.
- •Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) where the material appeared before removal.
- •A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- •Your name, physical address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district where BlueLockWorld may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the initial takedown notification.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, our agent will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the original complainant does not file an action seeking a court order within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore access to the disputed material.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy (17 U.S.C. § 512(i))
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i) and applicable law, BlueLockWorld maintains a strict policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, accounts, API tokens, community submission privileges, or IP access of users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
We also reserve the right to immediately suspend or restrict access for any individual or entity that submits knowingly fraudulent takedown requests or violates our Terms of Service.
